		<description>I think you are confusing two types of potential &#039;giver&#039;.  The Summer Ball is a great way of getting new potential givers to know that you exist.  It turns &#039;strangers&#039; into &#039;prospects&#039;.
You can always invite prospects and existing givers to a much more focussed event designed to help them &#039;buy into&#039; what you are about and establish (hopefully)a much longer term and more strategic donor relationship.
