Social entrepreneurs are often puzzling to the rest of the world. We are not religious -giving meaning to our passion – (although we might be), We are not civil servants – giving meaning to our actions – (although we might be), but we still have a desire to create things that connect and leverage the power of the individual to benefit the group. This is juxtaposed to the standard (business) model which is the leveraging of the group for the benefit of the individual. The standard model has created the largest gap in standards of living (wealth) in the history of the world. This divide is dangerous and wrong.
